Work sample Year 9 - 10 Italian: La moda e le stagioni

This work sample demonstrates evidence of student learning in relation to aspects of the achievement standards for Year 9 - 10 Italian: La moda e le stagioni. The primary purpose for the work sample is to demonstrate the standard, so the focus is on what is evident in the sample not how it was created. The sample is an authentic representation of student work and may contain errors such as spelling mistakes and other inaccuracies. In this work sample students: • show understanding of how features of language can be used to influence audience response • create texts, selecting and manipulating language for a range of contexts, purposes and audiences • apply and use complex sentences and structures to create and respond to spoken and written texts • use a variety of tenses to sequence events and use language devices to enhance meaning and cohesion • demonstrate understanding of the conventions of spoken and written texts and the connections between them • apply knowledge of language structures and features to make and predict meaning.
