Students research Australia’s involvement in World War I and the significance of the ANZAC legend, using relevant historical sources. They develop a persuasive text about the commemoration of World War I and debate the nature and significance of the ANZAC legend. The package comprises teacher guidelines, student booklet, assessment resources and task-specific standards (rubric, matrix, continua).
