  • This resource may be useful for the Biomes and food security unit of study in the year 9 geography curriculum. The front page for each individual country includes a link to an overview of the country's challenges, as well as links to fact sheets, reports and bulletins that relate to food security in that country and across the world. This is relevant to the content description about the challenges to food security including competing land uses, population growth and climate change.
  • The resource can contribute to students attaining the achievement standard in year 9 geography. The information on individual countries provided in the WFP web pages can help students to identify and analyse the interconnections between places, people and environments.
