Work sample Year 1 HASS F-6: Continuity and change in daily life

This work sample demonstrates evidence of student learning in relation to aspects of the achievement standards for Year 1 HASS F-6. The primary purpose for the work sample is to demonstrate the standard, so the focus is on what is evident in the sample not how it was created. The sample is an authentic representation of student work and may contain errors such as spelling mistakes and other inaccuracies. In this work sample students: • identify continuity and change in significant aspects of daily life • collect, sort and record information and data from observations and provided sources • draw conclusion • share narratives and observations about people, places and the past, drawing on sources and incorporating subject-specific terms.
