- 1.Winemakers grow grape varieties that are suited to their region. So what impact might a warming climate have on the wine-making industry?
- 2.It's suggested that wine-grape growers can adapt to the rising temperatures in two ways. What are they and what do you think about these suggestions?
- 3.How have the wine-grower and the environmentalist in this clip responded to issues around climate change? How do they differ? Select a wine-growing area of Australia and find out what grape varieties are grown there. Pretend you are a wine-grower in that region and devise an action plan for how you will respond to a warming climate over the coming decades.
- 4.Research how other agricultural industries might be affected by climate change. Investigate measures that could be taken to reduce climate change.
