Teacher guide Small change, big difference

TLF ID M021760

Living things grow and change all the time, but it can be difficult to see quickly in plants. This inquiry-based sequence of seven lessons uses simple experiments and guided observation to explore the importance of light for plant growth and food production. The experiments and activities are based on current food security, sustainability and photosynthesis research and include easy to set and see science displays, word games, practical activities and maths learning activities. The unit includes a worksheet to assist in implementing a modified version of the scientific method. Also included are researcher profiles to directly link your classroom to the research.
