Smartphones are everywhere - and you can use them to make all sorts of creative video content. Watch this clip and learn some simple tricks from ABC Open's Dan Battley. You'll be capturing great footage and making excellent videos in no time! Before you start recording, Dan has these tips: • Check you have enough phone memory before you shoot. Video takes up a lot of storage space. • Make sure your phone is fully charged. Recording video chews up battery life. • Turn off all your apps to extend the life of your battery while recording. • Switch your device to flight mode so you don't get interrupted with a phone call. Now get cracking!
