The overview of the Darling catchment provides a foundation for learning how the Darling River connects places in western NSW and the different values that local people place on this river. * This resource may be of some value in relation to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures cross-curriculum priority when looking at the unique belief systems, special connections and responsibility for Country. * This resource may be of some value in the sustainability cross-curriculum priority relating to the importance of ecosystem functions and the need for the preservation or restoration of the environment for a sustainable future.
