This 13 minute video describes how science supports archaeology. Dr Paul Willis follows a group of Australian volunteer archaeologists as they unravel the complex archaeology of the Atacama Desert in Chile and find mummies that were made thousands of years before the Egyptian civilisation started. How scientific ideas and methods can help us to learn about past cultures and people.
