Learning objects Worlds apart

Worlds apart is part of the unit Worlds, and is also an independent resource that can be used as an ideal introduction to the area of study for students in years 10. Worlds apart explores the ways in which individuals and communities, through their different values and attitudes, react to change. It has activities and tasks using a range of texts (short documentary film, performance poetry, prose fiction and photographs) with information about how to explore, examine and analyse texts linked to a concept. It includes help with developing a related text folio, a suggested related texts list, essay writing models and scaffolds.
