Some numbers seem too big to multiply easily. There are strategies to help you solve difficult multiplications in your head. You can break them up, so that you can use the times tables you know best. For most of us, that's the 2 times tables, 5 times tables, and 10 times tables. Sometimes you can use more than one strategy to help you work out the answer.
